Kosiski Wraps Up Malvern Bank and Hoker Trucking Season’s This Weekend

Andrew Kosiski and Team 53 will head south to kick off the month of October as both the Malvern Bank and Hoker Trucking LLC Super Late Model Racing (SLMR) Series end their 2020 race seasons this weekend. Friday the team heads to the Lakeside Speedway in Kansas City Kansas, while Saturday the Randolph County Raceway in Moberly, Missouri is the place to be. (Todd Boyd photo)

Friday night, October 2nd, the Malvern Bank Series heads to the Lakeside Speedway for the season finale, a race that was originally scheduled for July 31st. This will be Kosiski’s first visit to Lakeside since June of 2018 where AK finished the feature in 10th place. Andrew’s career best finish at the KC speed plant was in 2014 where he finished 4th during night two of a doubleheader weekend.

Saturday night the Hoker Trucking Series will wrap up its inaugural season at the Randolph County Raceway in Moberly Missouri. This will be Kosiski’s first visit to the high banked 3/8th mile speedway in ten years. That night Andrew finished 4th in his heat race, but retired from the feature early after breaking a rear end gear. Action is set to start at 7pm with adult admission being $20.

After missing the beginning races of both series’ due to his Covid 19 diagnosis, Kosiski has spent the entire year working his All Makes Collision Center , Certified Transmission , Kosiski Auto Parts, Super Clean , Select Auto Sales Omaha , Omni Inventive Care , We'll Smoke U BBQ No. 53 up the points standings sheet. AK currently sits 15th in the Malvern Bank standings and 10th in the Hoker Trucking points.
