AK Celebrates Independence Day with NASCAR Season Opener

Andrew Kosiski and Team 53 will kick off the 4th of July weekend this Friday night as the NASCAR Advance Auto Parts Weekly Series begins its 2020 season at the I-80 Speedway.

Kosiski, who was the 2015 NASCAR Nebraska State Champion, will be looking for his first career I-80 Speedway track championship after finishing in third place last season. This year the competition will be fierce as the NASCAR season has been shortened to just five nights for the Super Late Model division, giving no room for error for any of the competitors.

LAST WEEKEND OUT: Kosiski started off his 2020 season with two top ten finishes with the Hoker Trucking Series. Andrew picked up a 10th place finish at the Independence Motor Speedway Saturday night and a 5th place finish Sunday at Mason City.
